Born Elijah Jordan Wood on January 28th, 1981 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Deborah and Warren Wood, he was just your average young boy. Overly energetic and rather mischievous, Mrs. Wood decided that all that energy should be put towards something constructive and when she saw a commerical on T.V., she knew exactly what to do.
Little Elijah was enrolled in Avant Modeling School and learned the art of the model. Of course, he was successful. Mrs. Wood then took her 3 kids to L.A. to live and at a conference, Elijah was noticed by an agent. He asked if he'd like to do movies and well, he said" why not?"
I know my verison is a little sucky (sorry, I'm going to do a better one though)
Other Facts
- likes the Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins (and Billy Corgan's new band, Zwan), Massive Attack, Pavement, Radiohead, Buffalo Daughter, the Cake and Sea, Beulah, the Strokes, the Hives among others
- names mean "Chosen One" and "Messenger of God" in Hebrew and suits his role as "Frodo" very well.
- he has a tattoo- enough said
- likes to spike his hair evidently or leave it looking like a TIGI BEDHEAD ad
- likes homemade potato salad
- is single and enjoying in (he's in flux at the moment)
- has many nicknames: "Monkey" "The Funny" "Lij" "Elwood "Eli" and one that i made up for him "Gelfling"
- is rather hobbit-like from what i've read of his description of himself
- is very opinionated, a little geeky, weird, philosophical, filthy-mouthed, & intelligent (just how I like my guys)
- loves surfing since he took it up in N.Z.
- was once a child model and attended modeling school
- we share the same taste in music, clothes, and hobbies (it's not as scary as people think)
- he has been accused of being gay, being rude, and being *gasp* a weirdo
- has an affection for Chuck Taylors (Converse All-Stars)
